Bridget Ann Kahler

Bridget Ann Kahler, 89, died June 27, 2013 at Stormont-Vail HealthCare in Topeka, KS. She was born February 1, 1924, in Sitka, KS to John and Magdelene (Jacobs) Schiefelbein. She retired from #501 school district where she worked in the kitchen at Eisenhower School. Bridget married Leon Kahler on June 19, 1952 in Topeka. He died on February 1, 2011. Bridget is survived by her son, Dan of Topeka, daughter Diane Black (Serrel) of Overland Park, KS and granddaughter Jacqueline Black. She was cremated. Graveside services will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Monday, July 8th at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Matthew Catholic Church sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home 800 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603.
