Sadie Grace Torrez

Sadie Grace Torrez, 1 ½ year old infant daughter of Jacob Daniel and Tricia Marie (Dittmer) Torrez passed away at her home on December 5, 2012. She was born in Topeka, Kansas on April 30, 2011. Sadie loved to dance, run, play with phones and could give you a heart melting smile or "the look". She had a very strong connection with her twin sister and loved girls best except where her dad was concerned. She is survived by her parents, Jacob and Tricia Torrez of the home, an older brother, Elijah, twin sister, Sophia and a little brother Isaac. Sadie is also survived by her grandparents, Molly and Greg Torrez and Gary and Teresa Dittmer, two great grandmothers, Dolores Torrez and Bridget Moore and numerous aunts, uncle and cousins. Sadie will lie in state at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday after 4:00 p.m. where a Parish Scripture Reading and Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. Mass of the Angels will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Sadie Torrez Memorial Fund sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
