Anthony John (Tony) Vinning, 48, of Topeka, KS, died November 16, 2012 at Lake Perry. He was born on January 10, 1964 in Topeka, Ks, the son of Bill and Patricia (Kaberline) Vinning. He was a graduate of Topeka High School in 1982. Tony served in the United States Navy and worked for Goodyear as a tire builder since June of 1995. Tony enjoyed reading the bible frequently. He always put family first as they were the most important to him and he always looked up to his mother and father. Anthony was a very strong-willed person. There are not enough words to express his big heart. He was very athletic and loved sports, especially golf, riding his motorcycle, vegetable gardening and canning. He loved his wife very much, as did she love him just as much if not more. They were inseparable. Tony married Lisa Ann Rabe on February 18, 1992 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include his mother Patricia Vinning of Topeka, two brothers Thomas Vinning of Topeka and Daniel Vinning of Georgia, his father-in-law Charlie Rabe of Topeka, and his sister-in-law Kelly (Troy) Schuster of Topeka, and many nieces and nephews. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Bill Vinning, a brother Richard Kline, and a sister Jo Ann Vinning. He leaves behind his beloved pets whom he loved dearly, cats: Mr. Gray Hairs , Buttons , Patches , and Princess (Peepers), who will all be lost without him. His dog Toby is deeply saddened now also. He loved animals, and loved to spoil them as does his wife. He is going to be sorely missed. Graveside inurnment services with military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made in Anthony?s memory to the Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
