Geovani O'Che Plakio

Geovani O?Che Plakio, 19, of Topeka, died November 10, 2012 at a local hospital. He was born in Topeka, Kansas on February 4, 1993 the son of Francisco Plakio and Maranda Rodriguez. Geovani was a graduate of Washburn-Rural High School. He enjoyed playing basketball, fixing things, and spending time with his family. He will be most remembered for his sense of humor and beautiful smile. Geovani worked as a Health Aide with the disabled at Equi-Venture Farms. He is survived by his parents, Maranda Rodriguez of Kansas City, Kansas and Francisco Plakio of Topeka, his step-mother, Angela Plakio, three sisters, Genovia Plakio, Gelisyanna Plakio and Garina Plakio all of Kansas City, Kansas, two brothers, Cayden Plakio-Dominguez and Angelo Plakio both of Topeka, his grandparents, Cindy Castorena-Rodriguez of Topeka and Alonzo and Terri Plakio of Topeka, a great grandmother, Guadalupe Foster of Topeka, his girlfriend, Breanne Nelson of Topeka and a daughter Malisyia Plakio to be born in January. He is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
