Evelyn M. Stepina

Evelyn M. Stepina, 86, of Topeka, died Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Midland Hospice House. Evelyn lived at Plaza West but formerly resided at Vintage Park in Osage City. She was born November 27, 1925 the daughter of Carl and Clara (Burchett) O?Neal. She was the mother of five daughters, Carline Groom of Seattle, Washington, Pam Hawkins of Auburn, Kansas, Sandra St. Clair of Topeka, Kansas and Tammy Brotherton of Lawrence, Kansas. One daughter, G. Lynn Plank preceded her in death. Thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2012 at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family suggests flowers be sent in lieu of contributions to the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Sunday between noon and 5:00 p.m. at 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
