Mary Louise Hensley, 82, of Topeka, died Friday, October 12, 2012 at her home. Mary was born on April 14, 1930 in Mound Ridge, KS, the daughter of Elmer and Ecil Mae (Arthurs) Cullison. She married Perry Hensley on September 4, 1953 in Anderson, IN. He survives. Mary is also survived by one daughter, Penny Fish of Kansas City, MO; three sons, M.D. Hensley of Fort Worth, TX, Thomas Hensley of Oklahoma City, OK and John Hensley of Ottawa, KS. Other survivors include two sisters, Velma Harmon of Savoy IL, Alice Rufenacht of Belvidere, IL, and a brother, Eldon Cullison of Kerrville, TX. Eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by a son, David Hensley. Mary will lie in state after 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 19th at Capital City Community Church of God, 1191 SE 37th St, Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Cremation will follow. Inurnment will be at a later date in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Mary?s memory be made to Doorstep or the Women of the Church of God and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603.
