Brian D. Dreher, 53, Topeka, KS died October 4, 2012 at his home. He was born October 28, 1958 in Topeka the son of Lawrence and Loretta (Ryan) Dreher. Brian was a grocery broker of Kraft Foods for several years before operating his car dealership, Mid States Wholesale. He was also the owner of Dreher?s Liquor Store. Being a musician, music was a great part of Brian?s life. He was a 1976 graduate of Highland Park High School where he played the drums with "Scot Singers" and was in the marching band. He was a member of the Catholic Faith and he enjoyed going to the lake and boating. He married Billie Berwert on April 24, 2010 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include his father, Lawrence Dreher, a daughter, Angela Dreher, a son Brian Box and his wife Nichole all of Topeka, a step-son, Tyson Gibson and a step-daughter, Shelby Gibson both of the home along with his sister, Brenda Kroll and her husband Joseph of Topeka. Three grandchildren, Viktoria Cross, Karissa Box and Rylie Gibson also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Dreher on November 11, 2007. Brian will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
