Peggy Ann Quarles

Peggy Ann Quarles, 69, of Topeka, died September 20, 2012 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 4, 1943 the daughter of John Henry and Willa Mae (Patterson) Mills. Peggy worked as a Secretary for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and also for the Menninger Foundation and in the Housekeeping Department for St. Francis Hospital. She loved children and especially spending time with her grandson Divan. Peggy enjoyed watching tv, playing the piano and traveling. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in north Topeka and the Soulmates Club. Peggy married Henry Edward "Eddie" Quarles in Topeka. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Kent Quarles of Topeka and a grandson, Divan Quarles of Dallas, TX. Peggy was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at the Second Baptist Church, 424 NW Laurent, on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
