Noka Marie Willis

Noka Marie Willis, 23, of Topeka passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013. She was born to Neosha Willis Brown and Jerome Jones in Topeka, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Richard Wardell Brown,Sr.; her grandfather Robert Luark, Sr.; her uncle Richard Wardell Brown, Jr.; and her nephew, Na?Ha-v-ahn Willis Martin, each of Topeka. Noka attended Topeka Public Schools. She graduated from Highland Park High School. Noka was employed with Sunflower Supports and devoted most of her life to that job. Noka was fun and outgoing. She loved to do her hair and nails. She loved to dress up and to have photos taken of herself ? she loved to model. She also loved to dance. Noka was not a selfish person. She put everything and everybody before herself.She loved hard and was a giver. She loved to be with family; that meant hergranny, her sister, Naju and her cousins. She loved for children to be respectful to their parents and she was also very respectful herself. She was always sweet to everyone.She highly believed in Jehovah God and his teachings. Noka was engaged to Nicholas Xaviar Moore, who was also the father of her children. She leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Neosha Willis Brown and Jerome Jones; her stepfather, Gaylon Brown, Sr.; her children: Becorath Nicholas Xaviar Moore, and Nikyla Marie Annette Moore; her siblings: Shaunae Jones, Naju Willis, Gaylon Brown, Jr., and Jaylon Brown; her maternal grandmother Esther Marie Luark and great-grandmother, Roxie Ann Brown; her paternal grandmother, Janice Armstrong; one niece, Ny-Jliaha Willis; two Godmothers; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, Visitation 1-2 p.m., serve at 2 p.m., at Brennan Mathena Funeral Chapel, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS; burial Mount Auburn Cemetery Thoughtful and sincere services provided by Slider Funeral Home. 913-573-2020
