Ceasar "Weeze" Antonio Munguia, 35, passed away on June 8, 2013 with his family by his side. Ceasar was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 5, 1977 to Inocencio Munguia, Jr. and Anita Gonzales. Ceasar attended elementary and secondary schools in Kansas and later completed his studies at Huntington Beach Union School District in Southern California. Ceasar graduated from American Career College in Anaheim, California with numerous academic awards and was a Certified Medical Assistant. Ceasar was also a vocational nursing student where he took great pride in being of service to others. For a number of years he was involved with a Christian Fellowship in Orange County where he ministered to the homeless and provided food and clothing to needy families. He was a beacon of life, laughter, and love. Ceasar's other interests included his love of music, baseball, boxing, cooking and beach biking. He was also an avid fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Oakland Raiders, and his beloved Kansas Jayhawks. Ceasar had a great love of nature and especially of the beach where he enjoyed spending time with friends, family and his daughter. Ceasar is survived by his parents, his daughter Elena Munguia and her mother Andrea Hopkins of San Diego, California. His siblings include three brothers, Jesse Cortez Jr., Rene Munguia, and London Munguia, and four sisters, Mona Cortez Pritchett (Donnie), Maria Munguia, Ashley Munguia and Sabrina Munguia. He is also survived by nieces, Alyssa Pritchett and Isabell Chavez Munguia and nephews, Kaleb Pritchett, Marcos Cortez and Marcelino Cortez. Ceasar was preceded in death by a brother, Marcos Munguia, and grandparents, Leo and Antonia Gonzales, and Inocencio and Conception Munguia Sr. Ceasar with lie in state at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Huntington Beach, California from 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 8:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Inurnment will be at Good Shepard Cemetery in Huntington Beach, California all on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
