Daniel Wayne "Red" Montague, 57, of Topeka, died April 28, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Topeka, Kansas on October 14, 1955 the son of Billy Dale and Geraldine Alberta (Willmarth) Montague. Red was enlisted in the National Guard. He was a roofer for several roofing companies over the years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his son. He is survived by a son, Daniel Wayne Montague II, a step-son, Brian Hogan, three sisters, Victoria (Archie) Seamans, Sherry (Chad) Ross, and Tina (Mike Packer) Montague all of Topeka as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, David and his parents. Daniel will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. with a service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will follow services.
