Lindsay Jo Fogelberg

Lindsay Jo Fogelberg, 30, of Topeka, died September 1, 2012. She was born January 28, 1982 in Topeka, Kansas. She was a homemaker and loving mother. Lindsay loved spending time with her boys, taking them for walks, and game night. She enjoyed bowling, camping, biking, country music and going to concerts. She liked taking her boys to her aunt?s house so they could play in the country with her children. She and Mark enjoyed spending time around the fire pit with the boys and watching them roast marshmallows. She always enjoyed throwing a great 4th of July party. Lindsay was an avid fan of the Kansas Jayhawks. But most of all she will be remembered for her smile and contagious laughter. Lindsay is survived by her mom and step dad, Lorinda and Matthew Nutt of Kansas City, Kansas, her father Kirk Ross of Topeka, her 8 year old son Collin Edward Huxman and her 3 year old son Landon David "Tank" Huxman, a sister Mandi Ross of Topeka, a brother Andrew Wayne Ross of Topeka, the father of her children Mark Edward Huxman, Grandmother Peggy Ross of Topeka, the Grandparents of her children Mark "Papa Mark" Huxman Sr. and Sandy Foster, and the Great Grandmother of her children Donna Huxman of Topeka, her best friends, Dale Seibert and Tina Marie Miller, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lindsay will lie in state after 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery.
