Elizabeth A. "Beth" Warner, 72, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. Beth was born June 30, 1940 in Marysville, KS the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Bornhorst) Cohorst. She was a homemaker most of her life later retired as the office manager for Dr. Shin-Fu-Hsu. . Beth was a member of Mater Dei-Holy Name Catholic Church for many years where she was active with the St. Gerard Circle and was a child care provider. She later became a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a member and past Regent of Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle #503. She was an active member of Relay for Life, A.C.S. She married Alan L. Warner on November 7, 1959 at Assumption Catholic Church. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Kirk Warner and Cindy of Topeka, Jeff Warner of Burlingame, Lisa Stratton and her husband Don of Auburn, Steve Warner and Patricia also of Auburn, a sister, Genevieve Kelso of Big Bear, CA father-in-law, Francis Warner and his wife Bessie of Topeka, KS. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, plus one great grandchild due in May. Beth was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Theresa Jordan, Margaret Witham and William Cohorst. Beth will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. The Daughters of Isabella will pray the rosary at 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Beth?s memory may be made to Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland or to Relay for Life, ACS sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
