Michael Thomas Schuenight

Michael Thomas Schuenight, 51, of Topeka, died February 8, 2013 in Osawatomie, Kansas. He was born on June 26, 1961 in Wichita Falls, Texas the son of Robert and Leila (Reed) Schuenight. Michael attended Seaman High School and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his parents, Robert Schuenight of Ozawkie, KS and Leila Schuenight of Topeka, and three sisters Barbara Laird and Linda Jacob of Topeka and Nancy Schuenight of Denver, Colorado. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Schuenight. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at West Lawn Memorial Gardens. He will lie in state on Wednesday evening after 2:00 p.m. where the family will greet friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Valeo Behavioral Services and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
