Walter W. Hagen

Walter W. Hagen, 83, Topeka, died February 1, 2013 at Stormont Vail Hospital. He was born July 13, 1929 in Jersey City, N.J. the son of John and Bessie (Lemmerman) Hagen. Walter retired after 23 years of serving his country in the United States Navy. He married Geneva Mae Carson on April 9, 1956 in San Diego, CA. She preceded him in death on February 1, 2003. He is survived by his children, Linda Miller and her husband Bob of Spokane, WA, Susan Peacock and Marty Forman of Golden, CO, Gayle Hagen of Norman, OK, William "Bill" Hagen of Topeka, Cathy Hagen-Sheik and her husband Eric of Jet, OK. Five grandchildren, Rigel Wilder, Justin Peacock, Candace Hagen, Leah Miller and Samantha Erickson along with four great-grandchildren also survive. Cremation is planned.
