Ruth Ann Devlin

Ruth Ann Devlin, 74, of Topeka, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at Brewster Place. She was born July 21, 1938 in Topeka, the daughter of Paul J. and Eleanor "Helen" (Domme) Artzer. Ruth Ann was a 1956 graduate of Hayden High School. She worked for Myer?s Yearbooks, American Yearbooks and Jostens from 1956 until her retirement in 1971. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church Ruth Ann married Paul Roy Devlin on September 19, 1959 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Topeka. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1993. She is survived by a daughter, Tedi Lynn Devlin, a brother, Donald Lee Artzer, a half-sister, Sandra Barnett and a half-brother, Ted Artzer all of Topeka. Ruth Ann will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Monday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
