Antonia Mosqueda

Antonia Mosqueda, 97, of Topeka, died January 2, 2013 at Autumn Home Plus. She was born in Dallas, Texas on June 14, 1915 he daughter of Timoteo and Otilila (Rodarte) Mosqueda. Antonia worked for Seymour Foods. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Although she never had children of her own, she helped raise four generations of children. Antonia is survived by several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Sara Mosqueda of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, John Rodarte, Charles Rodarte, Manuel Mosqueda and a teenage brother also by the name of Manuel Mosqueda, and three sisters, Luz Hernandez, Elena Rodarte and Ruby Rangel. Antonia will lie in state at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday where the family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
