Jane E. (Kirk) Hendrickson, 52, of Topeka, passed away January 4, 2012 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born November 27, 1959 in Topeka the daughter of Leon and Mary (Koprek) Kirk. Jane graduated from Highland Park High School in 1977. Jane was employed by Kansas Orthopedic and Sports Medicine before she retired in 2009. She was a founding member of Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church (MTCC). Jane was married to Jeffery Hendrickson on August 25, 1979 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Jason Hendrickson (Kelly) of Overland Park and Jeremy Hendrickson, mother Mary Kirk, sister Linda Glasgow (Jerry) and brother Michael Kirk (Pam) all of Topeka. Two grandchildren Joele and Kelson Hendrickson of Overland Park also survive. She was preceded in death by her father Leon Kirk. Jane will lie in state after 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8th, at MTCC Church where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A parish rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 9th,at MTCC Church. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
