Marvin Lloyd Jr., 41, of Topeka, died November 30, 2011 at Stormont-Vail Health Care Center. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 20, 1970 the son of Marvin and Doris Jean (Robinson) Lloyd Sr. Marvin worked for Coca Cola Bottling Company in the warehouse. He loved sports, especially as a fan for the Lakers and Rams. Marvin was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He married Shampayne Williams in Topeka, Kansas on August 6, 2004. She survives. He is also survived by his mother, Doris Jean Murray of Kansas City, Ks., three sons, Marvin Lloyd III, Marzell Lloyd and Isaiah Johnson of Topeka, five daughters, Kia Harris, Dominique (Jacob) Bessette, Andreia Johnson all of Topeka, Maxine Lloyd and "T" Lloyd both of Kansas City, Kansas, one brother, Darrin, three sisters; Margaret, Jackie and Shawne, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Princess Lloyd. Marvin will lie in state at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. where the family will receive friends. Funeral Services will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church. Cremation will follow.
