Lorrell Brooks

Lorrell Brooks, 48, of Topeka, died October 10, 2011. He was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 1, 1963 the son of Hoover L. and Zepora E. (Jones) Brooks. Lorrell was a member of the Abundance of Life Church of God in Christ. He especially enjoyed walking, eating and drinking. He is survived by his brother, Harvey and his wife Michelle of Topeka and their children, Brandi, Deja, Ashley and Gershon. Lorrell was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Darlena in 2005 and Rebbecca in 2007. He is also survived by a host of many friends and extended family who will miss him dearly. Lorrell was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held in his memory on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. He will be inurned at a later date with his mother in the Topeka Cemetery.
