Wilma K. Cook

Wilma K. Cook, 87, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born in Flush, Kansas on January 30, 1924 the daughter of A.V. and Josephine Marie (Reyer) Lauer. Wilma attended Frankfort High School and Stewart?s Beauty Academy. She owned and operated Wilma?s Beauty Salon in Topeka for over thirty years. Wilma is survived by two daughters, Patty Ruetti and her husband Richard of Frankfort, KS and Sandy Cook of Topeka, one son, Kenny Cook of Lansing, KS, two grandsons, Kevin Rose of Blair, NE. and Shawn Rose of Frankfort, KS and five great grandchildren, Jake, Jedd, Logan, Sydney and Aubrie. She is also survived by a brother Earl Lauer of Frankfort, KS along with two sisters, Dorothy Flood and her husband Don of Topeka, and Alberta Violand of Frankfort, Ks. She was cremated.
