Neil K. Schreiber

Neil K. Schreiber, 29, of Topeka, died September 5, 2011 at his home. He was born in Topeka, Kansas on June 10, 1982 the son of Lawrence Norman and Jorree (Ackors) Schreiber. Neil was a graduate of Shawnee Heights High School and worked at the Target Distribution Center. He is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Jorree, two sisters, Laci Schreiber of Augusta, GA., and Dawn Budt and husband Jon of Rapid City, SD., grandmothers, June Ackors of Topeka and Louise Schreiber of Tecumseh, aunts and uncles; Jerald and Cathy Schreiber of Overbrook, Ks., Bill and Theresa Kelly of Independence, Ks., Ira Ackors Jr. of Mayetta and Sandra Wiese of Mayetta. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Norman Schreiber and Ira Ackors, Sr. Neil will lie in state after 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church, 10th and Clay where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. The funeral will be held at 10:00 Friday at Western Hills Baptist Church, 29th and Auburn Rd. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be to the Schrieber Memorial Fund to be designated by the family at a later date and sent in care of the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th, Topeka, KS 66603.
