Isabelle Marie (Glotzbach) Hull, 96, of Topeka, died August 13, 2011 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born in Paxico, Kansas on January 29, 1915 the daughter of Isedor and Ottilia (Meinhardt) Glotzbach. During World War II she worked for the Civil Air Patrol aiding pilots and was also a pilot herself. Isabelle worked as a Buyer and Assistant Manager for Crosby Brothers and later managed Nightengale?s Apparel. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Women?s Club at the church. She volunteered at the Veteran?s Administration Hospital and the Red Cross where she aided in doing the psychological testing of admitting patients. Isabelle will be remembered as an excellent cook and hostess. She married Lawrence Hull at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church on October 11, 1948. He survives her. She is also survived by three sisters, Edith Sack of St. Marys, Ks., Irma (Jack) Meredith of Los Angeles, CA., JoAnn (Dale) Miller of Topeka, a brother Dennis (Ruby) Glotzbach of Topeka and a sister-in-law, Irene Glotzbach also of Topeka. She had many nieces and nephews who were dear to her. Isabelle was preceded in death by four sisters, Genevieve, Evelyn, Marcella and Olive and by a brother, Herbert. She will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Wednesday after 2:00 p.m. where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrate on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
