Mireya Carmen Ortiz Rodriguez

Mireya Carmen Ortiz Rodriguez, 20 months, of Topeka, passed away August 12, 2011 at St. Francis Health Center. She was born December 1, 2009 in Topeka the daughter of Leobardo Vizcarra Rodriguez and Lauren Ashley Ortiz. Survivors include her parents, grandmother Denise Peralta of Topeka and great grandfather Mario Peralta Sr. of Topeka. Many aunts and uncles also survive. Mireya will lie in state from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church where a parish rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Mass of the Angels will be celebrated at 10:00 Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mireya Ortiz Rodriguez Memorial Fund and sent in care of the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave. 66603.
