Gary Lee Trusty

Gary Lee Trusty Sr., 58, of Topeka, died July 13, 2011 at his home.

He was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on February 7, 1953 the son of Claude Arthur and Frances Della (Joslin) Trusty. 

Gary was a jack of all trades. 

He was married to Kathy Irene Michaelis in Topeka.  She survives.  Other survivors include:  his sons:  Gary Lee Trusty Jr. and Gary Lee Trusty III both of Topeka, Lloyd Arthur Trusty of Carbondale, Robert Eugene Trusty and David Frank Trusty both of Lawrence, three step children, numerous grandchildren, his siblings, Helen Marie Jackson, Betty Miller, Sara Salyer, Debbie Belsher, Linda Flynn, Claude Trusty, Stanley Trusty, Joe Trusty and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Root and a brother, Robert Reed.

Gary will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Sunday, July 17th after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M.  Cremation will follow.
