Robert Roush, 70, of Topeka, died June 6, 2011 at Midland Hospice House.
He was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on February 5, 1941 the son of Galen Russell and Mary Grace (Farnam) Roush.
Robert was a mechanic for the Auburn Washburn School District.
He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and loved dancing to country music at the Wild Horse Saloon. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.
Robert is survived by two sisters, Peggy Harr of Topeka and Janice Johnson of Emporia, Ks., two nieces, Joyce Rivera of Topeka and Jacque Harr of Silver Lake, two nephews, Glenn Parker and Larry Parker both of Emporia, many great nieces and nephews, one great-great nephew and a very dear friend, Vida Keyser of Silver Lake.
He will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Friday, June 10th where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 8:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. Inurnment will be at a later date.
