Margaret J. “Marge” Neiswender, 82, of Topeka, passed away March 27, 2011
at Midland Hospice.
She was born July 10, 1928 in Salina the daughter of John and Ruth M.
(Carpenter) Farrell.
Marge was employed by Falley’s as a bookkeeper for many years before she
retired in 1990.
She attended Holy Name Catholic Church and graduated from Topeka High
School. She was an avid crafter and loved quilting, knitting, crocheting and
sewing. Before becoming ill she was active in Pappan’s Landing Senior
Center.
Marge was married to Robert R. Neiswender on August 1, 1969 in Miami, OK.
He preceded her in death November 15, 1989.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Luttjohann of Kansas City, MO, David
Luttjohann and Chris Luttjohann (Bobbi) both of Topeka, one stepson,
Robert Neiswender, Jr., one stepdaughter, Mary Lou Jarvis both of Topeka. Nine
grandchildren and many great grandchildren also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the
Brennan-Mathena Funeral. Inurnment of her ashes will follow in Rochester Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pappan’s Landing Senior Center and
sent in care of the funeral home, 800 SW 6th, 66603.
