Jose Louis Flores

Jose Louis Flores, 44, of Topeka, died January 16, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital.

 Jose was born in Mexico on April 20, 1966 the son of Jose and Eustacia (Armendariz) Flores.

 He worked in the construction field for Torgenson Trenching Service for many years.

 Jose loved animals, especially horses.  He enjoyed fishing, doing yard work and gardening.

 He married Amancia Olivas who survives him.  He is also survived by four children, Cesar, Leo, Gemma and Vanessa Flores all of the home, and three sisters, Josefina and Eulaliaand Eulalia of Mexico, Soledad of California and Natividad of Texas. 

 Jose will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Wednesday after 2:00 p.m. where a Parish Prayer Service will be at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.  Cremation will follow.  Inurnment will be held later at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
