Kathleen Ellen McNeive

Kathleen Ellen McNeive, 83, of Topeka, died of cancer on January 1, 2011 at her home at Atria East where she was one of its first residents.

She was born in Delia, Kansas on August 28, 1927 the daughter of Leo and Agnes (Pasley) McNeive. 

Kathleen graduated from Clark’s Business College and worked for the AT & SF Railway Co. before she retired. 

She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Santa Fe Old Timer’s.

Kathleen in survived by her cousins, Dale Eakin of Topeka, Mary Ettamay Eakin Rose of Phoenix, AZ., Clara Ann Eakin Brooks of Glendale, AZ. and Melissa Vessar of Fairfield, CA.

Kathleen will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Tuesday after 2:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow in the Holton Cemetery, Holton, Kansas.
