Kathryn Mary Haliday

Kathryn Mary Haliday, 45, of Topeka, died December 2, 2010.

She was born in Greenwich, Connecticut on March 22, 1965 the daughter of  Irene (Charlton) Haliday.

Kathryn graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Washburn University in 2009 with a degree in Social Work. 

Kathryn loved gardening and cats.  She especially loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, family and friends.  Kathryn was a very compassionate person who loved life and helping others.

She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Kathryn is survived by her mother Irene Haliday of Miramar Beach, FL., a son, Ryan LaMunyon of Topeka, her brother, David Haliday of Chicago, her sister, Elizabeth Von Braunsberg of Chicago and her nieces and nephews, William Haliday, Isabel Von Braunsberg, Nora Von Braunsberg and Tommy Von Braunsberg.  She will be dearly missed by them all.

Kathryn will lie in state at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Saturday from 2-4 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  Interment will be held at a later date in Florida.
