E’Anne “Pinky” Frye, 60, of Topeka, died October 24, 2010 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born in Jefferson, Iowa on December 16, 1949 the daughter of Sedwick and Esther (Hyland) Parks. E’Anne served in the Iowa Army National Guard.
E’Anne was a 1968 graduate of Paton-Churdan Sr. High School, Churdan, IA. She was a homemaker and home schooled her two sons. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Washburn University in 2002.
She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church.
She married Craig Colan Frye in Des Moines, Iowa on April 29, 1993. He survives of the home. She is also survived by her three sons, Daniel and Joey Frye of the home, and Aaron Calahan of Garden City, Kansas, two brothers, Jack Parks of Springfield, MA. and Pete Parks of Churdan, Iowa, two sisters, Marjorie Neukum of Woodbury, Connecticut and Barbara Nowick of Prairie Village, Ks. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Neil Parks.
E’Anne will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday where the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. with a Parish Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Cremation will follow.
