Lucile A. Van Horn

Lucile A. Van Horn, 94, of Topeka passed away October 10, 2010 at Brewster Place.

She was born September 17, 1916 in Dedham, IA the daughter of Barney E. and Anna (Truhe) Hochstatter.  Lucile moved to Topeka from Valley Falls in 1934. 

Lucile was a member of Mater Dei Parish .

She was married to Thomas Lee Van Horn in 1936.  He preceded her in death in December of 1965.  A companion Lester Hofwolt and a sister Julia Hochstatter also preceded her in death.  Survivors include numerous cousins.

Lucile will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.  An entombment service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Hope Mausoleum
