Edward Joseph “Eddy” Dolsky, 70, of Ocean View, Hawaii, formerly of Topeka, died September 23, 2010.
Edddy was born in Holton, Kansas on June 13, 1940 the son of Edward Frank and Rita F. (Coffindaffer) Dolsky. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps.
Mr. Dolsky was a retired postmaster in Hyder, Alaska, a transcendental meditator and a Marine Corps Reservist.
He married Bonnie Marie Neeley at Gage Park Rose Garden in Topeka, Kansas on September 11, 1971.
Eddy is survived by his wife, Bonnie, a daughter, Crystal Trux of Beaufort, S.C., three sons, Ray (Janet) Dolsky of Bartlesville, OK., Keith (Cathy) Dolsky of Kansas City, MO., Jarrod (Kerry) Dolsky of Ketchikan, Alaska, a brother, Tom (Leeta) Dolsky and a sister, Rita Ann (Gary) Lewis all of Topeka, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dolsky was cremated in Hawaii. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. with a Memorial Service following at 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Holton, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
