Marie Ann Kaberline, 91, of Topeka, died September 9, 2010 at Stormont-Vail Health Center.
She was born on July 31, 1919 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Leinacker) Stadler.
Marie was a machine operator for Adam’s Printing Company and retired in 1981.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was an active volunteer and sang in the church choir. Marie was also a volunteer at Let’s Help Inc. and the Hayden Pace Auction for many years. She was also a member of the Shawnee Boat and Ski Club, American Historical Society of German’s from Russia, Oakland Neighborhood Improvement Association, Santa Fe Old Timers and several polka clubs.
Marie married George Kaberline at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on July 4, 1941. He preceded her in death on October 28, 1999. She is survived by two sons, George Kaberline and Stephen (Donna) Kaberline of Topeka, and two daughters Susann Tessendorf of Topeka and Carla Duncan of Kansas City, Kansas, 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Virginia Latshaw, Francis Stadler, Louis Stadler, Rita Harvan, James Stadler and Jerry Stadler.
Marie will lie in state at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday after 4:00 p.m. where an Altar Society Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. and a Parish Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
