Marcella M. Meier

Marcella M. Meier 91, Topeka, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Midland Hospice.

Marcella was born June 20, 1919 in McFarland the daughter of John and Mary (Graves) Eagan. 

She married Hubert Meier at Assumption Catholic Church on November 9, 1939 he preceded her in death on December 14, 1992.

Marcella was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph’s Altar Society, St. Francis Auxiliary, F.C.E. (Family and Community Education) and St. Anthony Guild.

Survivors include a sister Regina Rooney, Topeka,  in laws: Lucille and Ed Krische, Peter Meier, Helen Meier, Raymond and Doris Meier, Robert and Charlotte Meier all of Topeka and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Clement, and Charles Eagan, three sisters, Clara Renyer, Frances Brame and Dorothy Eagan.

Marcella will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home with an Altar Society Rosary being prayed at 4:30 p.m. followed by a Parish Rosary at 5:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
