Elizabeth Ann Saenz

Elizabeth “Lisa” A. Saenz, 46, of Topeka, died June 10, 2010 at her home.

She was born in Topeka, Kansas on August 7, 1963 the daughter of Roland and Katherine (Ramirez) Saenz.

Lisa was a graduate of Hayden High School in 1981, received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1987 and a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree from Washburn University in 2000. 

She was an active member of the Fellowship Bible church and was a volunteer for the Topeka Public Library. 

Lisa will be most remembered for her love and talent in baking and spoiling her entire family with her delicious treats.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was the daughter of Roland and Katherine (Ramirez) Saenz, granddaughter of Augustine and Jessie Ramirez, sister of Michael Saenz and his wife Teresa, Gina Sastamoine, Kimberly Canody and Father Chris Saenz.  She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Lisa was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Ladislao and Frances Saenz and a sister Angela Maree Saenz.

Lisa will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Monday after 2:00 p.m. where a Parish Prayer Vigil will be at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Fellowship Bible Church, 6800 SW 10th St.  Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Public Library or the American Cancer Society and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas  66603.
