L. Louise Lister Loberg

L. Louise Lister Loberg, 86, of Topeka, died May 24, 2010 at her daughter’s home. 

She was born in Salina, Kansas on July 21, 1923 the daughter of Vivian and Bernice (Melvin) Mayfield. 

Louise was a Property Manager of her own rental properties, was a foster parent, and worked many years for the USD #501 Board of Education.

She is survived by a son, Daniel O. Lister and his wife Carleen of Topeka, two daughters, Denise Richards and her husband Richard of Topeka, Marilyn Boeckman and her husband Steve of Wetmore, Kansas, grandchildren; Jerod, Justin, Geoff, Heather, Matt, Leigh Ann and Lindsey, and nine great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Larry and sisters, Joyce and Grace.

Louise will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Wednesday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.  Graveside Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Topeka Cemetery Garden Chapel.
