Dorothy L. Stamm

Dorothy L. Stamm, 86, of Topeka, died January 21, 2010 at McCrite Care Center.

She was born in Topeka, Kansas on February 18, 1923 the daughter of Thomas and Edna Blanche McKenna.

Dorothy was a homemaker. 

She married Gerald L. Stamm Sr. on August 1, 1938.  He preceded her in death on December 23, 2008 shortly after they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

She was also predeceased by a granddaughter, Stacy L. Wright and a great granddaughter, Leslie Von Hemel.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Nancy Finley and husband Jim of Topeka, Carol Von Hemel and husband Bill of Topeka, Gerald Stamm Jr. and wife Darcy of Tecumseh, a sister Alma Lee Wray of Austin, Texas, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 22nd, at 2:00 p.m. at Topeka Cemetery Garden Chapel.
