Janice Elaine Kitterman, 55, of Lyndon, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009 at her home.
She was born January 14, 1954 in Hays the daughter of Delmer and Genevieve (Conyac) Belisle. Janice was a graduate of Palco High School.
Janice was a legal secretary for various law firms. She enjoyed working outside in her flower beds and garden from which she did canning.
She was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Damar.
Janice was married to James Kitterman on December 30, 1999 in Leavenworth. He survives.
Other survivors include, her mother Genevieve Belisle of Damar, son Scott Tremblay of Denver, CO, sister Deborah Schraeder and her husband Ed of Topeka and her dog Petou. A daughter Stephanie Tremblay preceded her in death on May 31, 1993. She was also predeceased by her father Delmer and brother Ira Lynn in 1973.
Janice will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 p.m., a parish rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 312 NE Freeman, Topeka, KS. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
