James A. Robinson

James A. Robinson, 55, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Midland Hospice.

He was born August 9, 1954 in Topeka the son of Marvin and Phyllis Mae (Neal) Robinson.  James graduated from Topeka High School in 1973.  He later graduated from Pittsburg State University with a degree in elementary education.

James was employed by Boeing Aircraft as a tool and die maker.

He was an avid KU fan.

James was a former member of the East Topeka United Methodist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Sara Marie and Lori Beth Robinson both of Phoenix, AZ and a sister Cheryl Byler of Belleville, PA.  James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Mike Robinson.

James will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. today where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
