Catherine Laura Renyer

Catherine Laura (Beier) Renyer, 93 years, passed away on October 9, 2009 at her son’s home.

She was born December 18, 1915 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of George and Anna Marie (Urban) Beier.

Catherine was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She married Hugh W. Renyer on February 12, 1941 in Topeka.  He preceded  her in death.  She is survived by her son David L. (Patricia) Renyer and a brother C.J. (Terry)Weigel all of Topeka, four grandchildren, Cynthia Jenkins, Mara Knapp, Helen Meats and Hugh Renyer, and 13 great grandchildren.

Catherine will lie in state at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Tuesday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. and a Vigil Prayer Service will be at 6:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.  Interment will be in Mt.
