Susan Nazzaro

Susan Beth “Suzi” Nazzaro, 66, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at St. Francis Health Center.

She was born July 15, 1943 in Topeka the daughter of Don and Jayne (Cunningham) Hillrichs.  Suzi graduated from Topeka High School in 1961.

Suzi was employed in retail management for several retail stores, most recently at Catherine’s and Lane Bryant’s.

She was artistic and creative, doing crafts and making jewelry.  Suzi was a collector of angels, Boyd’s bears and Precious Moments.  She will be remembered as a caregiver.

She is survived by a daughter Tiena Nazzaro of  Country Canyon, CA, two sons, Troy (Sandra) Nazzaro and Tim (Stacey) Nazzaro all of Topeka, one brother Brad (Michele) Hillrichs of Lake Perry and three sisters, Ruthie (Adam) Nocktonick of Mayetta, Donna Davis of Enterprise and Patricia (David) Drake of Topeka.  Five grandchildren, one great grandson and many nieces and nephews also survive.  Suzi was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son Alan, a brother John Hillrichs and a granddaughter Bethany Nazzaro.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.  Inurnment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
