Gragg A. Sheppard

Gragg A. “Butch” Sheppard, 45, of Topeka, died June 28, 2009 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

He was born in Lansing, Kansas on July 29, 1963 the son of Roy Eugene and Dorothy M. (Wishteyah) Sheppard.

Gragg was a member of the Prairie Band Tribe of the Pottawatomie Indians.  He will be remembered for his love of his family.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Sheppard of Topeka, one daughter, Kimberly Parr of Topeka and three sisters:  Norma Shipshee of Mayetta, Nikki Sheppard and Billie Jo Bridges both of Topeka and three nieces, Destiny Sheppard, Danial Sheppard and Cheyenne Segundo and a nephew, Dominic Dominguez.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary E. Dominguez.

Gragg will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Tuesday after 2:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
