June F. Rhoads

June F. Rhoads, 64, of Topeka, died June 18, 2009 at Midland Hospice House.

She was born in Lawrence, Kansas on December 7, 1944 the daughter of Cheston and Betty (Sellers) Sewell.

June was a member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed Cryptoquote, puzzles, the computer and decorating.

She worked as a Nursing Technician in the Health Care Industry.

June married William “Bill” Rhoads on October 30, 1998 in Topeka, Kansas.  He survives of the home.  She is also survived by her children:  Roxann Munoz Florez and husband Thomas, Larissa Munoz-Crow and husband J.B., Angela Munoz Jacobs all of Topeka and Jill Rhoads Betz and husband Richard of Sacramento, California; fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two sisters, Berdean Stroh of Topeka and Agnes Patterson of Athens, Texas.

June will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Monday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m.  A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. followed by her funeral service.  Cremation will follow.  Private inurnment will be held later at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
