Jose Tetuan Jr.

Jose Tetuan Jr., 73, of Topeka, died June 4, 2009 at Midland Hospice House.

Mr. Tetuan was born on August 3, 1935 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Jose L. and Eugenia Tetuan.

He was retired from the AT & SF Railway Company where he had worked for 37 years.

Jose was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and the Carman’s Local Union.

H married Beverly A. Campbell in Chillicothe, Missouri on May 3, 1954.  She survives of the home.  He is also survived by three sons, Anthony Tetuan of Topeka, Robert (Judy) Tetuan of Euless, TX., Patrick (Terrie) Tetuan of Topeka, six daughters, Deborah (Jimmy) Davis of Topeka, Cynthia Wilson of Topeka, Nancy (Mark) Jordan of Topeka, Kathleen Grace (Donelle) Cline of Naples, FL., Caroline (Michael) Hildebrandt of Topeka, Cheryl Kassim of Topeka, two brothers, Raymond and John Tetuan both of Topeka, three sisters, Rachel Chavez, Eva Bermudez and Isabel Adams all of Topeka, 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jesse Tetuan.

Mr. Tetuan will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Monday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. and a parish rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m.  The casket will remain closed.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
