Theresa Marie Klein

Theresa Marie Klein, 92, of Topeka, passed away Saturday May 16, 2009 at Midland Hospice House.

She was born March 22, 1917 in Topeka the daughter of Adam and Theresa Bauer.

Theresa was in womens weare clothing sales for Lerners Vogue in Topeka and Kemmerer, WY and later was a buyer in the womens wear department for Crosby Brothers Department Store for many years and in sales for Similar Mode Uniforms  before she retired.

She was a member of Mater Dei Parish.

Theresa is survived by a son Ken Klein of Lake St. Louis, MO, a grandson Mark Alan Klein of Dallas, TX and great grandson Joshua and great granddaughter Abigail; and a granddaughter Paula Whitney Donovan of Orlando, FL and two great grandsons Conor and Matthew.  Many nieces and nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her former husband Edgar Klein of Shawnee.

Mrs. Klein will lie in state after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mater Dei’s Holy Name Church.  Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mater Dei’s Holy Name Church and sent in care of the funeral home, 800 SW 6th Ave., 66603.
