Dale Miller Amos, 76, of Topeka, passed away Sunday December 28, 2008 at Stormont-Vail Health Care.
He was born April 6, 1932 in Kansas City, MO the son of Eustace and Ova (Miller) Amos. Dale served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1955. He then served in the reserves until 1966.
Dale received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and had taken courses toward his graduate degree in Advertising both from the University of Missouri. He was an advertising specialist for Adams Business Forms for many years, later working for Brackett Inc. before he retired. After retirement he did free lance advertising.
His interests included following current events, sports, cooking and exercising. Dale very much enjoyed his daughter and grandchildren and making humorous cards and banners for friends and family.
Dale’s survivors include a daughter Sheree (Mike) Lovich of Topeka, a sister Carol (Charles) Miller of Boulder, Colorado and a sister-in-law Dora Amos of Newark, OH. Two grandchildren Ashley and Eric Lovich of Topeka also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Royce C. “R.C.” Amos.
At his request he was cremated and no services are planned. Private inurnment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
