Edward F. Dolsky

Edward Frank Dolsky age 93, of Topeka, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 at Stormont-Vail Health Care.

He was born March 20, 1915 in Burchard County, NE the son of Frank Louis and Anna M. (Krikava) Dolsky.

Edward was a farmer, truck driver and worked in production at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company before he retired.

He enjoyed gardening and auto mechanics.

Edward was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He was married to Rita Coffindaffer on October 3, 1939 in Holton.  She preceded in death February 4, 2002.  Two daughters, Bernadette Dolsky and Monica Pachosa also preceded him in death.

Survivors include, Two sons, Edward J.Dolsky and his wife Bonnie of Ocean View, HI  and Thomas P. Dolsky of Ozawkie and his partner Leeta Foley of  Valley Falls, one daughter Rita A. Lewis and her husband Gary of Topeka and one sister Lillian Meyers and her husband Dennis of Fairbury, NE.  Twelve grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Dolsky will lie in state on Tuesday after 2:00 p.m. at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. where a Parish Prayer Service will be at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Mount Calvary cemetery in Holton.
