Dawn Marie McCarten, 49, of Lawrence, died October 30, 2008 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born in Iowa City, Iowa on August 12, 1959 the daughter of William Alan and Marietta (O'Hara) Aldeman.
Dawn had worked for the Owen's Brush Company.
She is survived by her mother, Marietta Gill of Kalona, Iowa and a brother, William Aldeman and his wife Marie of Coralville, Iowa.
