Rita A. Boyle

Rita A. Boyle, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Midland Hospice House.

Born in Blaine, Kansas the daughter of  Michael J. and Agnes (Wright) Boyle.

She was a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Mental Health.  She had worked in Kansas City, Washington D.C. and in Topeka.  Rita retired in 1998 after 20 years of service with the Colmery-O’Neil VA Medical Center.

Rita was preceded in death by her siblings, Maurice, Richard, Gerald, Loreto, Thomas and Dorothy Boyle Overby.  She is survived by her friend, Mary Haubold and her nieces and nephews; George Boyle of Denver, Co., Terry Boyle of Lakewood, Co., Judith Boyle Berry of North Richland Hills, TX., Kay Boyle of DeWitt, N.Y., and Sue Boyle Phillippe of Auburn, N.Y.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m.  Inurnment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
